Piano Tuning
Sierra Schmidt and her music assistant(s) travel to your acoustic piano starting in late 2026 in southern Cochise County, Arizona, including Bisbee, Double Adobe, Douglas, Elfrida, Fort Huachuca, Hereford, Huachuca City, McNeal, Naco, Palominas, Sierra Vista, Tombstone, and Whetstone. Ms. Schmidt aims to specialize in tuning and not currently in repairs or overhauls. Price: Piano tuning costs generally range from $100 to $200 for a basic service, but can go higher for neglected pianos needing a "pitch raise" (an extra step to bring it to standard pitch, adding $75-$150+) or if you have a high-end grand piano. Expect to pay more if the piano hasn't been tuned in years. Regular tunings (every 6-12 months) keep costs lower. At the current time Sierra Music Academy does not offer repairs or renovations of either acoustic or digital pianos.
