Our Philosophy

At Sierra Music Academy, we firmly believe that all students have the ability to learn and have talents just waiting to be discovered and developed. In addition to teaching instrument playing and technique, we believe that learning music theory and music history enhances a student's understanding and appreciation for music.

Our goal, however, is not only to improve the musical knowledge and skill of our students, but to develop each student's focus, confidence, and discipline so that they can use what they have learned in their music lessons to help them achieve their academic and professional goals. We strive to instill in our students a love of learning so that they embrace the lifelong pursuit of personal growth and development.
